Mary has been invited by Deutches Altenheim German Centre for Extended Care and Susan Bailis House Assisted Living for monthly poetry readings to bring her gift of inspirational poetry to their residents.

She shared her amazing journey of faith, inspiration, hope and healing, read from her book, "New World Greetings:Inspirational Poetry and Musings for a New World" and shared with Jordan her journey from social worker to poet, from polio survivor to marathon runner. On July 2nd at 3 pm, Mary will be sharing poetic reflections with the residents of The Goddard House, Chestnut Street, Brookline, MA

On July 16th, 2008, Mary will be volunteering at the West Haven VA Medical Center, West Haven, CT to share her inspirational journey of hope and healing with veterans at the West Haven VA.
